The Central Bank of Ireland has of 4 February 2014 published its seventh edition of its “AIFMD Question and Answers” publication.
The Q&A document is designed to answers to questions that practitioners and managers are to raise in relation to the implementation of the AIFMD. The Central Bank of Ireland publish the documents to assist in firms in managing any uncertainty they may have with the AIFMD until definitive positions and practices are finalised. It is not relevant to assessing compliance with regulatory requirements. It is noted The Central Bank reserves the right to alter its approach to any matter covered in this Q&A at any time.
